The context Service Design Days is a global gathering for people building better services through design. It brings together practitioners, leaders and brands from around the world to share methods, case studies and the practical realities of embedding service design inside organisations. In September 2018, the conference returned to Barcelona with a programme showcasing how leading organisations use service design to improve services for customers, citizens and employees. The organisers needed a host who could hold the room across multiple days, connect the programme threads, and deliver a closing keynote that reflected the breadth of what the audience had experienced. What we did Gerry Scullion took on three connected roles across the conference: Conference Host. Gerry opened the event and introduced sessions, setting the tone and framing the themes for the audience. Master of Ceremonies.
