A five-day advanced service design course delivered in London for DGA, the Saudi Arabian government, with 20 senior delegates focusing on managing, prototyping, researching and scaling government services.
The context DGA, the Saudi Arabian government's digital transformation and government services authority, needed an intensive, advanced programme for senior government delegates on designing better public services. The brief was to move beyond theory into the practical realities of managing, prototyping, researching and scaling services inside government. The programme was delivered in London in December 2024 over five consecutive days, on site and in person, for 20 senior delegates from the Saudi Arabian government. What we did Gerry Scullion and Mark Stickdorn led the five day advanced service design training course. The programme was designed specifically for senior government stakeholders and focused on the skills needed to design and deliver more joined up, citizen centred services at scale. The course covered four core themes: 1. The management of services for people within government sectors.
